Academic Introduction 

Xu-Qing Tang is a responsibility professor of School of Science in Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China. He received the B.S. degree in mathematics from the Anqing Normal University, Anqing, China, in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree in computational intelligence computation from Anhui University, Hefei, China, in 2008. He also serves for several professional associations, for example, executive director of Jiangsu Mathematical Biology Society, director of Jiangsu Computational Mathematics Society and director of Jiangsu Association for Applied Statistics. He has published more than 70 research papers and been supported by several findings such as NNSF, 973, etc. His main research interests include intelligent computation, bioinformatics, and modeling and simulation of ecological systems.
